Hello everyone, Andrew Drive here, and I am here to share with you all and write what has been happening to our app and why the website’s home page changed through out. Recently, we’ve been posting on Twitter that our app has been removed off the developer’s hands because of a Web View policy that doesn’t allow referral traffic without permission from the Website Administrator. Without the documents, we were at a disadvantage. The developer, JD in which we agreed to have the app in his name and is a good friend of ours, recently texted me after he got another suspension message, saying he is upset that we caused it….. we apologized to him and we sorted it out. JD fears of being suspended from the Play Store and we never wanted to cause any mistakes. Our main goal is to curate and produce the content we want. My team also carefully programs the apps to make sure it is in compliance. JD had recently gave me access since the start of the app as well. 

This is what he received claiming it was not compliant with the policies.

Apparently, the developer and I are the admins of the app and we have all of the rights.. As the email got very clear to the point after reading what it says: you may submit documents as follows: a receipt or a view of the dashboard…., We knew what to do just then…. Me and JD got to agree to send an appeal to them with all of the supporting documentation including a view of the website dashboard. I sent a few docs to JD to submit along with his statement….. We noticed we had to wait during COVID so it might have been longer as usual….

In the meanwhile, episode 12 was being filmed, not long before a week or two has passed. I was thinking, was this going to be rejected? Maybe not this time….. it also says, you might want to use the Advanced Notice form instead of Appealing, but however since we sent our inquiry, it’s was best just to wait. After a while…. on June 23, 2021, we finally received a message from our ticket, the suspension was lifted. JD got the notice and texted me right back at 2 PM. He has got this after appealing….

They said that the documents were accepted.

After that, I noticed the app was back up to produce! We tweeted up the news and I got my team to Android Studio again and repaired a new version that might have send HTTP requests, redirects to the app, I also noticed how the app size might have been, maybe it was that or a slow computer when it was building the file…. any thoughts in the comments for those who stopped by? The next feature will have some beta offline support testings so when you don’t have internet, the page still loads.

For those who want to try it out will have to be in Canada to try it out, we noticed if we try the U.S. or another country, we increase our users and our APK files could be reposted at the same time so…. we are limiting the app to Canada and see how things go. Our website’s home page changes as well since it 404’s a lot, it’s fixed in the live version. We are looking for innovative ways to see how our visitors look into our website, Master Angelo of the Podcast will be looking into it and will be programming it through out September. The listen page will have changes along the way as well.

Anyways, Now the app is up for production. I am also happy with the decision of the appeal. Grab your hands on it Canadian users once it’s live! At the conclusion of this story, send them an ADVANCED NOTICE before sending your app!
